I am a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist. As a PM&R specialist (or physiatrist), my goal is to improve or manage pain and dysfunction resulting from diseases of the bone, joint, muscle, and nervous system.

I attended medical school at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. Following medical school, I did a preliminary medicine year at Union Memorial Hospital followed by residency in PM&R at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

I currently hold an academic appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine in the Department of Neurology, Division of Rehabilitation Medicine. I see patients at both the University of Maryland Medical Center and University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute.

My primary interests include musculoskeletal diseases, neuro-rehabilitation, multi-disciplinary (non-opioid) management of chronic pain, and education of the next generation of physicians. In my spare time, I enjoy photography and spending time with my family.
